Frequently asked questions
How do I deploy my application?+
Three options: clone a Git repository from the panel, upload an archive with the file manager, or push your files over SFTP. The start-up command can be changed at any time.
Can I serve my application on a domain?+
Yes. Each service gets an IP address and a port; we set up forwarding to your domain on request via a ticket. Your domain stays with your current registrar.
How do I connect my application to a database?+
Order the database as a separate service — MariaDB, MongoDB or Redis — then use the address and port assigned to you in your environment variables. Open a ticket if you would like help wiring the two together.
What happens if my application exceeds its memory?+
The process is stopped by the memory controller and restarted automatically, and the event appears in your logs. If it keeps happening, you receive an alert recommending a higher tier.
