Terms and conditions of sale

Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the provision of hosting services by Zi-Host: game servers, applications and databases, voice servers and virtual machines, together with the associated services (backups, support).

Any order placed on zi-host.ch implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.

2. Order and activation

An order is deemed firm once payment is received. The service is provisioned automatically on our Pterodactyl panel, usually in under a minute.

The customer receives their access details by email and can find them at any time in their customer area.

3. Term and cancellation

Services are provided without a minimum term, in monthly cycles.

The customer may request cancellation at any time from their customer area. The service remains active until the end of the period already paid, which is not refunded pro rata unless the law provides otherwise.

4. Prices and billing

Prices are stated in Swiss francs, with the applicable Swiss VAT (8.1%) shown separately on each invoice. Billing is monthly.

Payment is made exclusively by card through our provider Stripe. No other payment method is offered.

Renewal invoices are issued 7 days before the due date. If payment is not received within 3 days of the due date, the service is suspended. Data is kept for 14 days after suspension, then permanently deleted.

5. Customer obligations

The customer is solely responsible for the content they host and the processing they carry out. They undertake to comply with applicable law, in particular regarding intellectual property, data protection and unlawful content.

The following are prohibited in particular: sending unsolicited email, cryptocurrency mining, hosting manifestly unlawful content, taking part in network attacks and any activity that endangers the stability of the infrastructure.

6. Liability

Zi-Host is bound by an obligation of means. Its liability is capped at the amounts paid by the customer for the service concerned over the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Zi-Host cannot be held liable for data loss where the customer has not set up their own backups, automatic backups being a convenience service and not a guarantee.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Zi-Host's registered office, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
