Frequently asked questions
Can I change the version or install mods?+
Yes, freely. The file manager and SFTP give you full access to the server directory, and the start-up command can be changed. On Minecraft you can switch from vanilla to Paper, Forge or Fabric whenever you like.
How many players can I host?+
It depends mainly on the game and mods. On vanilla Minecraft, allow about 10 players per gigabyte of memory; with a large modpack, more like 2 to 3. The Medium tier (6 GB) comfortably covers an active community.
Does the server stay on all the time?+
Yes, 24/7. No sleeping, no shutdown when idle. You can set up automatic restarts with the scheduler if your modpack needs them.
Can I switch game without paying again?+
Yes. From the panel, reinstall different software on the same server: your resources and billing stay the same. Back up your data first, as reinstalling wipes the directory.
