Frequently asked questions
How many people can connect?+
The number of slots depends on the tier and above all on the software. Basic suits a small group of friends, Medium a community, Pro a large network. Bandwidth is not billed separately.
TeamSpeak or Mumble?+
TeamSpeak 3 remains the standard for gaming communities, with its detailed permission groups. Mumble is open source, lighter and often better on latency. You can switch later by reinstalling from the panel.
Do I need a TeamSpeak licence?+
The free licence covers servers of a usual size and applies automatically. Beyond that, a commercial TeamSpeak licence is required — open a ticket and we will explain what to do.
Can I manage the server from the web?+
Yes, by ordering TS3 Manager in the Applications category: a web admin interface for your TeamSpeak servers.
